Eugene, Oregon is known as a unique destination for arts and outdoors, nestled in a forest filled with trails and outdoor activity. You immediately feel close to nature with the abundance of trees and wildlife. We moved from Boise, Idaho to Eugene over 8 years ago and were captivated by the beauty and closeness to nature. Eugene features a robust recycling and compost program as well as leaf and yard debris cleanup system helps keep our streets clean. What about keeping our trash, recycling, and compost cans clean?

Like so many other families, we found ourselves cleaning out our cans with a hose and broom while attempting to capture all the harmful debris from going down our street drains and directly into our streams. We knew this was not only bad for the environment but also exposed us to harmful bacteria and diseases that breed in dirty cans such as Tuberculosis, Strep, Staph, E-Coli, Salmonella, and Listeria just to name a few. We started researching solutions to safely clean and disinfect while capturing the harmful waste. What we found was a growing industry of specialized equipment for trash can cleaning.

We began the search for a local company offering this unique service but the closest service was in Portland. Fast forward a few years and with plenty of research we made the leap and invested in a commercial bin wash system. Our systems utilizes 180º hot water that will disinfect and sanitize within minutes. Unlike several other systems our setup captures the waste water for proper disposal after cleaning. When we have to use cleaning supplies for more aggressive grit and grime, we relay on environmentally friendly solutions that are free of the harmful chemicals known to be harmful on the environment.
